Uniblue DiskRescue 2009 1.0 is a piece of software designed to give us the necessary tool for defragmenting our computer’s hard drive so we get a better performance. If we notice that our computer goes very slowly and we do not have an excess of programs or application, we may need to defragment the files in our hard drive and that is precisely what this program is aimed for. It performs a full and quick scan of our hard drive, after scanning completion it presents the results in its graphical and user friendly interface. We can see the fragmented files left. We can evaluate the downloadable trial version available from the developer’s website. This trial version only provides the scanning and results but in order to take an action like defragment the files left we have to purchase the full version. The full version also allows us to schedule automatic hard drive scan and defrag at a given time and optimize the speed of our computer. It runs under Microsoft Windows XP and Vista. It features a good user’s guide as well as tech support, updates and newsletter tutorials. |
